The surface of the lower portion of the road running from Fisherton down to Dunure was in a poor condition; full of scarring, indentations and potholes. As this section of the Road has a 60mph speed limit, has no street lighting, has several blind turns, and is used by local schoolchildren, it was a priority to have it repaired and reinstated. After discussion with South Ayrshire Council the work was prioritised and the Road Surface has now been reinstated. A similar situation existed at "Pennyglen" (the road beyond the Croy (Electric) Brae and leading to the junction for Maybole / Culzean). We hope to extend repairs to other essential areas within the Community.
