The large rocks placed on the shoreline were designed to protect the underground Scottish Water Tanks and Pumps. However, due to recurring severe weather, the rocks began to slip, presenting a hazard to beach users. Temporary security fencing and warning signs were erected by Scottish Water. After discussions with Scottish Water, the work was prioritised, and the Coastal Protection work has been reinstated to a higher standard. We are grateful to Scottish Water for assisting.
